What's Included:

  • Ebook Formatting: We'll convert your manuscript into a reflowable ebook format (EPUB) optimised for various e-readers like Kindle and Apple Books. This includes:

    • Consistent formatting of text, paragraphs, and spacing.
    • Table of Contents creation and linking.
    • Chapter heading design and implementation.
    • Scene break design and consistent application.
    • Embedding of images.

  • Paperback Formatting: We'll prepare your manuscript for print publication, creating a print-ready PDF that meets industry standards. This includes:

    • Page size and margin setup.
    • Consistent formatting of text, paragraphs, and spacing.
    • Table of Contents creation.
    • Chapter heading design and implementation.
    • Scene break design and consistent application.
    • Running headers and footers (if desired).
    • Front matter and back matter formatting.
    • Image placement and formatting (if provided).

Design Elements:

We offer customisation for chapter headings and scene breaks. We'll work with you to create unique and visually appealing elements that complement your book's genre and tone.

Process:

  1. Book your service. 
  2. Fill-out our service agreement contract (will be emailed to you after booking) along with our Style Questionnaire. 
  3. Submit your manuscript (Word document preferred).
  4. Discuss your formatting preferences and design ideas.
  5. We’ll design chapter headings and scene breaks (if you’d like) and submit these for your review. 
  6. We'll format your book and provide you with a digital proof for review.
  7. You approve the proof, and we deliver the final files.

Note: Manuscripts submitted should be the FINAL draft. Changes to content after submission will incur an additional fee which may be up to the price of the service. All content should be ready, including the copyright page, dedications and other additional sections.
